Abstract
Composition de verre ayant une excellente résistance aux alcalis et donnant des verres qui, outre leur résistance aux alcalis, ont peu tendance à la devitrification et ont une bonne résistance à la traction. . Cette composition comprend : SiO2 , 51,0-61,0 %; ZrO2 , 18,0-24,0 %; CaO, 0,8-5,0 %; BaO, 1,5-13,0 %; Na2 O, 8,0-17,0 % ; K2 O, 0-5,0 %; B2 O3 , 0-3,0 %; Al2 O3 , 0-3,0 %. Elle convient particulièrement bien pour la fabrication de fibres destinées au renforcement de ciments, qui sont fortement alcalins.
