1493080 Alkali-resistant glass fibres CENTRAL GLASS CO Ltd 31 Oct 1975 [9 Nov 1974] 45371/75 Heading C1M Alkali-resistant glass fibres consist of, by weight: where R 2 O is Na 2 O or a mixture of Na 2 O with at least one of K 2 O (not more than 5%) and Li 2 O (not more than 3%), and R'O is at least one of CaO, BaO, MgO and ZnO, the glass optionally including a fluoride to give up to 1% of fluorine (based on the total oxides). The glass fibres may be used to reinforce cement or mortar products.
