Abstract

Ce procédé consiste à faire réagir un N-chloramide de formule R - (CO - NHCl)n avec une base dans un solvant inerte, cette base étant une amine tertiaire ayant un indice pka supérieure à 7, à des températures comprises entre 20 degrés et 180 degrés C, pour avoir un isocyanate de formule R - (N = C = O)n dans laquelle R est un reste aliphatique araliphatique ou cycloaliphatique et n vaut 1, 2 ou 3, étant donné que le ou les groupes isocyanates sont liés à un, deux ou trois atomes de carbone différents, secondaires ou tertiaires du reste aliphatique ou cycloaliphatique. Utilisation de ce procédé pour obtenir les isocyanates avec un très bon rendement.
