Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation de 4-oxocapronitrile par réaction d'un excès d'acétone avec l'acrylonitrile à l'aide d'une amine primaire et/ou une base de Schiff, comme catalyseur et en présence d'un composé acide, opération dans laquelle la quantite d'oxygène dissous dans le mélange de réaction est maintenue en-dessous de 20 parties en poids par million, dans laquelle les réactifs non consommés et le catalyseur sont distillés à partir du mélange de réaction obtenu et par laquelle, à partir du résidu restant, on obtient le 4-oxocapronitrile par distillation On distille les réactifs non consommés et le catalyseur en présence d'un solvant inerte d'un point d'ébullition se situant entre 80 et 195 degrés C à une température inférieure à 195 degrés C et à une pression qui ne se situe pas en-dessous de la pression atmosphérique Avec le procédé suivant l'invention la recirculation du distillat obtenu ne provoquait pas de dépôt de substance de type polymère.
