Abstract

L'invention est relative au domaine des catalyseurs de polymérisation d'oléfines. Pour former un catalyseur comprenant un composé organo-aluminique et du trichlorure de titane, on utilise un trichlorure de titane modifié par chauffage de celui-ci et d'oxytrichlorure de phosphore en présence de chlorure de méthylène liquide mais en l'absence du composé organo-aluminique pendant au moins 15 minutes à une température de l'ordre d'environ - 20 à environ 60 degrés C. Ces catalyseurs sont d'une efficacité et/ou d'un caractère isotactique nettement améliorés.
