Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réaliser un essai en boucle fermée dans un réseau de transmission de données. Le réseau comprend un premier poste de transmission de données 20 connecté par une ligne de transmission de données ordinaire à un second poste au moins. Un signal SD est produit dans le poste 30 à destination du second poste. Le signal SD est constitué d'un premier et d'un second signal de bruit pseudo-aléatoire entre lesquels se trouve un signal d'essai en boucle fermée. Après réception dans le second poste, une ligne de retour de signal est créée dans celui-ci et le même signal est renvoyé au premier poste sous la forme du signal RD. Alors, le signal RD est comparé dans le comparateur 29 au signal SD mémorisé dans une mémoire 27. Le procédé de l'invention n'exige pas qu'une ligne soit spécialement réservée aux essais, et il peut s'appliquer à la transmission sur plusieurs niveaux.
