Abstract

A fitting for assembling profiled metal sections to panels is made in two parts (1, 2). The first part (2) is a block of square cross-section with a projection (3) at one end to match the internal profile of the section. The second part (2) is C-shaped with an extension (7) which fits in a slot (4) in the first part and is secured by a grub screw (6) which engages a sloping lip on the extension. A spring loaded dowel (8) in the second part engages a hole in the panel and the panel and section are locked together by tightening the grub screw.
