Abstract

Procédé de dépôt électrolytique de chrome et bains utilisés dans ce but. Ces bains sont préparés à partir de 100 g à 1600 g de trioxyde de chrome par litre, de 0,3 % en poids à 15 % en poids de Cl (ions chlorures ou chlore), calculés par rapport au trioxyde de chrome et/ou de 0,3 à 10 % en poids d'I (iode et/ou ions iodures), calculés par rapport au trioxyde de chrome, ces bains contenant aussi, de manière facultative, environ 0,3 % en poids à 2 % en poids d'ions sulfates, calculés par rapport au trioxyde de chrome. La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour fournir des bains de revêtement pour le dépôt électrolytique de chrome ayant à la fois des propriétés de dureté et de brillance, avec une efficacité de courant élevée.
