Abstract

L'invention concerne un composant de titane activé du type sur support pour catalyseur du type Ziegler comprenant un composant de titane sur support, un composé d'organoaluminium et un composé donneur d'électrons, et son application à la polymérisation stéréospécifique d' alpha -oléfines. On obtient le composant de titane par traitement de contact d'un mélange pulvérisé d'halogénures de magnésium et d'un ester d'acide orthocarboxylique aromatique avec des halogénures de titane.
