Abstract

La présente invention concerne un foret-aléseur comprenant des garnitures indexables pour aléser un métal. Le corps tranchant comprend deux ailerons s'étendant de part et d'autre d'un axe central et des garnitures indexables sont disposées dans des creux correspondants dans ces ailerons. Chaque aileron a une épaisseur uniforme à sa furface terminale ou son épaisseur diminue vers la périphérie de l'aileron à cette surface terminale et le rapport entre distance entre les bords arrières des ailerons prise le long d'une ligne de référence << x >> disposée perpendiculairement par rapport à l'axe central du foret-aléseur coupant à angle droit soit le bord arrière ou une projection normale à cette ligne de référence << x >> depuis le bord arrière ou depuis un point tangentiel sur ce bord arrière à angle droit, et la distance entre les surfaces latérales périphériques des ailerons est inférieure à 1 : 1,70.
