Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un maître-cylindre pour circuit de freinage. Le maître-cylindre selon l'invention comporte un boîtier dans lequel est prévu un alésage dans lequel coulissent un premier et un deuxième piston pour y définir une première et une deuxième chambre de pression reliées respectivement aux freins, chaque piston coopérant avec un joint d'étanchéité pour contrôler l'écoulement du liquide d'un réservoir aux freins, caractérisé en ce que ledit alesage présente une légère conicité et renferme un élément formant fourreau, lesdits joints d'étanchéité étant associés audit fourreau pour recevoir en coulissement étanche les pistons respectifs et coopérer avec le boîtier pour définir lesdites première et deuxième chambres. Application aux circuits de freinage des véhicules automobiles.
