Abstract

Ce maître-cylindre double est à transfert progressif de force de freinage. Il comporte un piston à deux étages qui comprime du fluide dans une première chambre de grande section pour alimenter les freins avec un volume important de fluide basse pression puis dans une seconde chambre de petite section pour alimenter les freins avec un faible volume de fluide haute pression. Une valve pilotée par la pression régnant dans la seconde chambre assure l'annulation progressive de la pression régnant dans la première chambre. Application aux circuits de freinage des véhicules automobiles.
