Abstract

L'invention concerne un robinet à tournant Le robinet comporte un corps dans lequel sont formés deux passages alignés qui débouchent dans un alésage central dans lequel un tournant est monté à rotation. Le tournant comporte des joints d'étanchéité allongés qui s'étendent vers l'extérieur à partir de sa surface et sont en appui contre la surface de l'alésage. Chaque joint, qui est disposé de façon à entourer complètement l'orifice d'un des passages lorsque le robinet est fermé, comporte au moins une lèvre 50, 52, 60, 62 dont une face fait un angle aigu diamétre avec un plan 56 tangent à la surface du tournant à la jonction de cette surface et de la lèvre. L'invention permet de réaliser un robinet qui est d'autant plus étanche que la pression ou la dépression du fluide est élevée.
