Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif annulaire d'étanchéité pour robinet à obturateur sphérique. Ledit dispositif comporte une bague métallique de section. rectangulaire dont la paroi interne fait partie de l'orifice axial par lequel s'écoule le fluide. Un siège annulaire en matière élastique est logé dans une gorge ménagée dans la face aval du dispositif et présente une partie profliée en C logeant un ressort hélicoïdal qui, lorsque le siège annulaire est serré, est légèrement déformé pour exercer une pression vers l'extérieur. Deux surfaces externes du siège forment une nervure exerçant une pression contre la surface de l'obturateur sphérique. Application aux robinets à obturateurs sphériques.
