Abstract
【解決手段】本発明のボールバルブ1は、流路孔14を有し、回転可能に支持されたボール13と、ボール13の外周面に当接するポリイミド製のボールパッキン23と、ボールパッキン23を保持するボールリテーナ24と、ボールパッキン23とボールリテーナ24の間に設けられ、樹脂製のシールケースの内側に金属製のスプリングが嵌め込まれたスプリング荷重式のリップシール27を備えて構成されている。

Description
(2)温度が−50℃以下の流体では、ゴム自体が弾性を失い、シールできなくなる。
(3)高温または低温では、永久変形が激しくなり、長期間使用することができない。また、Oリングの材質であるゴム(特に、シリコンやEPDM)は熱膨張が大きく、熱膨張が大きいと高温では極端に反発力が増加し、逆に低温では極端に反発力が低下するため、長期間の使用に適していない。
(4)フッ素系液体を使用する場合、フッ素ゴムは極端に膨潤してしまい使用できない。
(5)シートにOリングを併用する理由は、シートにテンションを加える機能と内部リークを防ぐ機能を持たせるためであるが、この二つの機能を同時に行っているため、悪条件(温度や流体の種類)での使用に耐えられず、長期間の使用に適していない。例えば、半導体製造装置の温度調節に使用されるフッ素系液体の温度は−80℃〜+200℃となっており、急激な温度変化を伴う過酷な環境下での使用であり、またフッ素樹脂製シートがフッ素系液体によって膨潤してしまい、シール性が著しく低下する。

Claims (7)
- 流路孔を有し、回転可能に支持されたボールと、
前記ボールの外周面に当接するポリイミド製のボールパッキンと、
前記ボールパッキンを保持するボールリテーナと、
前記ボールパッキンと前記ボールリテーナの間に設けられ、樹脂製のシールケースの内側に金属製のスプリングが嵌め込まれたスプリング荷重式のリップシールを備えたことを特徴とするボールバルブ。 - 前記リップシールの外周面に極細Oリングが設けられている、請求項1に記載のボールバルブ。
- 前記リップシールの前記ボールリテーナ側の側面に金属製の別のスプリングが設けられている、請求項1に記載のボールバルブ。
- 前記リップシールに当接する前記ボールリテーナにテーパー面が設けられている、請求項1に記載のボールバルブ。
- 前記ボールバルブが2方弁のバルブであって、前記ボールの流路孔に連通する貫通孔と、前記ボールパッキンの流出通路側に前記ボールの流路孔に溜まった流体を前記貫通孔から前記流出通路へと排出する排出孔が設けられている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のボールバルブ。
- 前記ボールバルブが電動式のバルブであって、前記ボールのシャフトとアクチュエータとの間にジルコニア製の遮熱延長シャフトが設けられている、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のボールバルブ。
- 前記ボールのシャフトの外周に、シャフトをシールするVパッキンと、Vパッキンを加圧する複数枚の皿ばねを互い違いに重ね合わせた直列ばねが設けられている、請求項6に記載のボールバルブ。
