Abstract

L'invention concerne un trépan rotatif à molettes scellé et lubrifié. Selon l'invention, il comprend un corps avec au moins une branche ayant un tourillon 18 pour supporter rotative une lame 15, un joint 23 entre la lame 15 et le tourillon, un réservoir de lubrifiant 24 dans le corps communiquant avec la zone des paliers 19, 20, 21 et 22 entre la lame et le tourillon, le réservoir ayant un compensateur de pression 26, 27 ayant une membrane élastique 26 séparant le réservoir en une région du lubrifiant et une de fluide de forage, et un moyen pour détendre la pression excessive de lubrifiant autour de la membrane vers l'extérieur du corps, comprenant un siège annulaire dans la paroi du réservoir, une face de vanne sur la circonférence externe de la membrane, et un moyen 30 pour solliciter la face contre le siège afin d'empêcher l'écoulement de lubrifiant de l'intérieur du réservoir vers l'extérieur jusqu'à ce que la pression excessive dépasse une valeur présélectionnée. L'invention s'applique notamment au forage.
