Abstract

L'invention concerne un trépan de forage à molettes. Le trépan comporte une molette 14 montée à rotation sur un tourillon 40 formé sur un bras 18, avec interposition de paliers 19, 20, 21, 22 lubrifiés par un circuit de lubrification 23, 24, 29, 32, 38. Un organe étanchéité torique Il est monté dans une rainure formée autour de l'orifice de la molette et est en appui contre le corps du trépan pour empêcher le fluide de forage et les débris de pénétrer dans des paliers. La rainure comporte une paroi latérale en biseau pour permettre au lubrifiant de s'échapper à l'extérieur si la pression à l'intérieur du trépan devient excessive. L'invention est applicable notamment aux trépans tricônes.
