Abstract

Acier structural soudable contenant du niobium et possédant une bonne soudabilité. Acier contenant de 0,005 à 0,04 % C, de 0,01 à 0,50 % Si, de 1,20 à 2,50 % Mn, de 0,01 à 0,07 % Nb, de 0,005 à 0,030 % Ti, de 0,005 à 0,06 % Al et le complément de fer et d'impuretés inévitables, ØC(%)+ ION(%)õ n'étant pas supérieur à 0,10 % et Ti(%)/ØC(%) + ION(%)õ étant compris entre 0,05 et 0,60 de manière à limiter la quantité d'îlots de martensite dans la zone affectée par la chaleur de soudage à moins de 15 %, en termes de pourcentage de section. De préférence, cet acier contient en outre au moins un élément intervenant dans la quantité spécifiée et choisi dans le groupe suivant : jusqu'à 0,50 % Cu, jusqu'à 1,50 % Ni, jusqu'à 0,50 % Cr, jusqu'à 0,60 % Mo, jusqu'à 0,10 % V, jusqu'à 0,003 % B, jusqu'à 0,02 % Ce et jusquà 0,003 % Ca. Application aux structures soudées à basses températures telles que pipelines en pays très froids.
