Abstract

Système de traitement de texte permettant l'édition côte à côte de colonnes de texte emmagasinées séquentiellement en mémoire, et pouvant présenter des changements de type de caractères au cours de l'édition. Le système permet l'emmagasinage de codes d'identification de type de caractères entrés par frappe au clavier en même temps que les codes de texte. Lors de l'édition du texte, le premier code d'identification détecté est emmagasiné dans un premier registre et est comparé à tout code d'identification détecté et emmagasiné dans un second registre lorsqu'il est procédé à l'avance de colonne. Lorsque les deux codes d'identification de type de caractères sont différents, c'est que le système doit procéder à un changement de type de caractères pour la nouvelle colonne à éditer, sauf si aucun texte n'est à éditer dans cette colonne. Application aux systèmes de traitement de texte avec changement du type de caractères au cours de l'édition du texte.
