Abstract

Procédé de polymérisation du propylène en présence d'un catalyseur consistant en un complexe catalytique solide à base de trichlorure de titane qui contient de l'aluminium en quantité correspondant à un rapport atomique aluminium/titane inférieur à 0,15 : 1 et un agent complexant, et un catalyseur auxiliaire consistant en un composé organique de l'aluminium. Le composé organique de l'aluminium répond à la formule générale AlR**1 n Cl3-n dans laquelle R**1 représente un groupe n-propyle ou n-hexyle et n a une valeur de 1,95 à 2,10. Le système catalytique utilisé conformément à l'invention conduit à une haute efficacité (rendement en polymère par rapport au catalyseur) et à forte activité de polymérisation.
