Abstract

L'invention concerne un catalyseur et un procédé pour préparer des polyoléfines. Pour polymériser des oléfines on utilise un catalyseur comprenant un composant catalytique solide séparé à partir d'un mélange réactionnel obtenu par réduction d un composé halogéné de vanadium et d'un composé organo-aluminique, en présence d'un éther. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la polymérisation des oléfines avec un catalyseur à base de vanadium ayant une activité très élevée, qu'il est inutile d'éliminer du polymère obtenu.
