Abstract
Composition catalytique perfectionnée. Cette composition catalytique consiste essentiellement en un composite calciné, présentant lui-même de l'activité catalytique, de l'alumine et d'un oxyde métallique choisi dans le groupe formé par les mélanges d'un oxyde de métal alcalino-terreux supérieur avec le trioxyde de molybdène, d'un oxyde de métal alcalino-terreux supéneur avec l'oxyde de zirconium, d'un oxyde de métal alcalino-terreux supérieur avec l'oxyde d'étain, de l'oxyde de lanthane avec la silice et de l'oxyde de lanthane avec l'oxyde d'étain, ledit composite ayant été formé par calcination de l'alumine en mélange avec le composant oxyde métallique à une température d'au moins 500 degrés C et se caractérisant par une surface spécifique d'au moins 20 m**2/g après chauffage de 1.200 degrés C, et une substance choisie dans le groupe formé par les métaux précieux, les métaux de base et les oxydes de métaux de base, incorporée en quantité catalytique dans le composite calciné. La composition catalytique selon l'invention donne des résultats remarquables en particulier dans la combustion des matières carbonées.
