Abstract
Les parties du moteur formant le passage de l'air de combustion sont réchauffées par introduction d'air chaud ou de gaz brûlés, avant fonctionnement autonome du moteur, et des moyens de commande auxiliaires 10 sont adjoints aux soupapes d'admission et d'échappement pour modifier le cycle pendant le réchauffage, de façon que chaque course ascendante d'un piston donne une course de refoulement et chaque course descendante une course d'aspiration, l'injection de carburant étant en outre coupée pendant le réchauffage
