Abstract

The bed is supplied in units which can be assembled by the user, and can be tilted at the head and feet. The bed-frame is made of pre-cut pieces which are slide-mounted crossways and sideways, and are fixed by means of bolts and a sleeve with three holes for height adjustment. The support of the frame consists of four uprights to which a crosspiece at the head and a crosspiece at the foot of the bed are fixed. A canvas or/and a mattress is attached by means of eyelets all round. Two cables support the sides of the canvas or mattress, with a spring and a tension piece.
