In order to support and exercise a foot or the feet of a bed occupant, a frame, having a leg rest 5, carries a pivotally mounted and resiliently urged foot board 8 and has a longitudinally adjustable spacing member 18 which abuts the foot of the bed. For use in exercising the foot, bar 22 is withdrawn to allow board 8 to pivot about bar 9 against the action of tension spring 12. Plates 23 and connecting rods 25, 26 support the bed clothes. Two frames may be joined laterally or, alternatively, the foot board, in a single rest, may be divided into two independently movable sections to accommodate both feet.
