Un connecteur 1, capable de connecter deux câbles électriques 2 constitués par une âme conductrice 3 entourée d'une gaine 4, comprend un boîtier isolant 5 et une vis de serrage 6. Le boîtier comprend une cavité 7 qui est séparée par la vis 6 en deux alvéoles recevant les câbles 2 non dénudés et la vis 6 est capable d'entailler les gaines 4 et de prendre ainsi contact avec les deux âmes 3. Applications : téléphonie et applications analogues.
