Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément de contact électrique à connexion auto-dénudante pour fil ou câble. Selon l'invention, l'élément comporte une extrémité profilée, obtenue par pliage, à section transversale en forme générale de U dont d'une part les bords sont repliés l'un vers l'autre de façon à définir une fente longitudinale 6 de largeur inférieure au diamètre de la gaine isolante du fil ou câble, et dont d'autre part la portion centrale présente une fente longitudinale découpée 8 de largeur inférieure au diamètre d'âme du fil ou câble, de sorte qu'une introduction du fil ou câble par ladite extrémité assure simultanément la connexion dudit fil ou dudit câble par morsure de son âme dans la fente découpée et la rétention dudit fil ou dudit câble par morsure de son âme dans la fente découpée et la rétention dudit fil ou dudit câble par morsure de sa gaine dans la fente issue du pliage. Application au domaine de la téléphonie et des télécommunications.
