Abstract
a. Creuset pour four de fonderie et pour fours à arc en particulier dont la paroi est refroidie au-dessus de la zone de fusion. b. La paroi intérieure du creuset est constituée au moins partiellement par au moins un serpentin refroidissant qui est à nu vers le milieu du creuset, les spires du serpentin étant étroitement serrées les unes contre les autres. c. Ce procédé permet de faire passer le fluide refroidissant sous pression, ce qui évite le risque de stagnation du fluide qui pourrait entraîner des surchauffes.
