Abstract

Système et procédé de contrôle en boucle fermée du mélange air-combustible dans un moteur à combustion interne. Système dans lequel un accélérateur positionné par un opérateur commande un débit donne de combustible dans le moteur et le débit d'air est contrôlé par un papillon commandé par un moyen d'asservissement; le débit de combustible commandé et la position réelle du papillon sont utilisés pour engendrer un signal fondamental de contrôle pour contrôler le moyen d'asservissement et régler la position du papillon; un senseur de gaz dans le moteur ou un détecteur d'irrégularité du moteur est sensible au mélange air-combustible réel dans le moteur qui peut être supérieur ou inférieur au mélange air-combustible désiré et un signal d'erreur est engendré qui est utilisé pour corriger en boucle fermée le signal fondamental de contrôle pour régler sélectivement la position du papillon afin de maintenir avec plus de précision un rapport air/combustible désiré. Système et procédé applicables aux moteurs d'automobiles.
