Abstract

Système de contrôle à boucle fermée du rapport air/combustible d'un moteur à combustion interne. Système comprenant un contrôleur de rapport air/combustible à boucle ouverte pour lequel une correction en boucle fermée est appliquée à son signal impulsionnel de commande, cette correction étant basée sur la commutation entre deux niveaux d'un détecteur d'oxygène détectant un état sensiblement stoechiométrique des gaz d'échappement du moteur et étant accomplie par un contrôleur à intégration qui répond à la commutation du détecteur en augmentant le rapport air/ combustible pour un niveau du détecteur et en diminuant ce rapport pour l'autre niveau, l'oscillation à cycle limite développée par le contrôleur à intégration étant modifiée en augmentant l'autorité et le taux de gain du contrôleur en fonction de l'écart du système par rapport à un point de référence, de sorte qu'il répond rapidement et uniment aux régimes transitoires. Système applicable aux moteurs d'automobiles pour réduire les émissions nocives d'échappement et économiser le combustible.
