Abstract

Cette invention a pour but d'améliorer un arbre à cames fabriqué en fonte de fer pour des moteurs à combustion interne à pistons alternatifs, arbre dont les portées des cames sont durcies. A cet effet, les zones bordantes des cames 2 ne sont pas durcies, et lorsque les portées de ces cames sont durcies par surfusion, les bandes de fusion 3 ne sont formées que dans la région moyenne des cames sur les 2/3 environ de leur largeur.
