Abstract

The appts. includes two piston pumps. The inlet of pump (1) is connected to a reservoir (9) of a solvent liq. and the inlet of the other pump (2) is connected to a source (11) of pressurised propellant gas. The pumps discharge separately to a mixing chamber (13) which discharges to injection head (14) which is applied to the valve of the aerosol container. The pumps are operated by the same motor (15). The inlet stroke of the pumps is effected by the pressure of the propellant gas. Mixing occurs at 45 bars which reduces to 7 bars in the container.
