Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé perfectionné pour la phosphatation des métaux, en particulier le fer, l'acier, le zinc, l'aluminium et leurs alliages, dans lequel on utilise une solution aqueuse acide contenant des ions phosphate, des ions zinc et éventuellement d'autres cations formant des couches, et un accélérateur de type peroxyde, et qui est essentiellement exempte de constituants donnant des sels solubles dans l'eau après neutralisation de la solution avec Ca(OH)2 , lequel procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on ajoute au bain de phosphatation, pour sa préparation et son remontage, un composé de fer II et/ou de préférence de fer III sous une forme dissoute dans l'eau.
