Abstract

Des sels de lithium ou de magnésium d'un acide carboxylique organique, notamment de l'acétate de lithium et/ou de l'acétate de magnésium, sont ajoutés à du sable vert de moulage pour améliorer ses proprietés à chaud entre 43 et 71 degrés C. L'acétate de magnésium est préféré, notamment pour les sables verts de moulage utilisés pour mouler de l'acier.
