Abstract
Couche magnétique élaborée sur un substrat et destinée à l'emmagasinage d'information en forme de domaines magnétiques formant des configurations géométriques occupant une position déterminée, ladite couche pouvant être magnétisée dans deux directions différentes, alors que les parois des domaines magnétiques sont fixées par des gradients locaux dans les propriétés magnétiques de la couche. En correspondance à l'invention les gradients locaux sont des variations en ampleur et/ou en direction de l'anisotropie magnétique et/ou de l'energie d'échange magnétique (en présence d'une intensité de magnétisation qui reste pratiquement la même) obtenus du fait de soumettre ladite couche à l'influence d'un faisceau d'ions accélérés. Application aux appareils d'enregistrement et /ou de reproduction d'information.
