Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux techniques de câblage des fibres optiques utilisées pour la transmission de signaux. Elle a pour but de protéger au mieux les fibres de verre contre les effets nuisibles des contraintes exercées soit en cours de fabrication soit en cours de pose des câbles. La nappe élémentaire suivant l'invention est un simple ruban plastique à rainures dans lesquelles les fibres de verre son individuellement mises en place avec un jeu important tan latéral que longitudinal. Une pellicule de polythéréphtalate d'éthylène est collée sur les rainures et sert de couvercle. Les nappes sont empilées et l'assemblage ainsi obtenu est vrillé sur lui-même, puis protégé par un bourrage plastique et enfin entouré d'une gaine plastique armée de fils de renfort et polyamide aromatique. Application aux câbles de transmission optique.
