Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un matériau pulvérulent permettant de former un revêtement protecteur sur un substrat par pulvérisation à haute température de ce matériau sur la surface de ce substrat Ce procédé est caractérisé par le fait que l'on soumet un mélange d'au moins deux matériaux en poudre à un traitement thermique à une température et pendant une durée suffisante pour provoquer, d'une part, au moins une réaction chimique mettant en jeu au moins une partie de ces matériaux, et d'autre part, un ramollissement temporaire de ceux-ci, de façon à former un matériau pulvérulent constitué de particules sphéroïdales ou d'agglomérats sphéroidaux de particules dont la composition est la même que celle que l'on désire conférer audit revêtement. Application pour la préparation d'une poudre permettant de former, sur la surface d'un substrat métallique, un revêtement protecteur ayant une bonne ahdérence sur ce substrat et une grande résistance à l'abrasion, ce revêtement étant obtenu par pulvérisation à haute température (par exemple par projection au moyen d'un pistolet à torche à plasma) de cette poudre sur ce substrat.The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a pulverulent material making it possible to form a protective coating on a substrate by spraying this material at high temperature on the surface of this substrate. Application for the preparation of a powder making it possible to form, on the surface of a metal substrate, a protective coating having a good adhesion on this substrate and a high resistance to abrasion, this coating being obtained by spraying at high temperature ( for example by projection by means of a plasma torch gun) of this powder on this substrate.
