Abstract
The traction system is for use on mine railways. The traction power is transmitted to the wagons by driven wheels or by means or rack between the rails. Several wagons of the train have power units with driving wheels. These wheels are connected to each other hyrostatically in parallel and are supplied by a pump unit. The power unit has a friction wheel and, on the other side of the rail, a trailing reaction wheel. The driving friction wheel is situated between support rollers arranged in pairs.
