Abstract
La présente invention concerne une source de courant électrochimique à haute densité d'énergie. Cet élément galvanique comprend une électrode négative en métal un électrolyte non aqueux et une électrode positive formée d'un oxyde de métal. Le composant électrochimiquement réductible de la masse de l'électrode positive est un oxyde de chrome de la formule CrO x dans lequel x est compris entre 2 et 2,9. On peut par exemple ajouter à l'oxyde chrome un autre oxyde de métal, par exemple MnO2 . L'invention sert à fabrication d'éléments galvaniques du type bouton.
