Abstract
The cryo-electric generator is based on the zero resistance of a coil winding of a transformer in a medium cooled to a temp. which is close to absolute zero. The primary winding is coupled via a metallic glass or vitreous metallic core to an output winding. The core has an amorphous crystalline structure having a high electrical resistivity and a low heat conductivity. The hysteresis characteristics of the material is comparable to that of a high performance low loss para-magnetic alloy. The cryogenic section of the transformer is fed from an input transformer whose output winding has a minimal number of turns compared with that of the cryogenic primary.
