Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de dessalement de petit-lait, caractérisé en ce qu'on fait passer le petit-lait à travers un échangeur d'anions 5,6, légèrement basique, en forme d'hydrocarbonate, et à travers un échangeur de cations 7,8, légèrement acide, forme (NH4 ), ces échangeurs d'ions étant régénérés par traitement avec une solution d'hydrocarbonate d'ammonium, provenant d'un tank 16, après quoi on éloigne par évaporation dans les évaporateurs 12, 13 et 14 les ions d'ammonium et d'hydrocarbonate présents dans le petit-lait. Un dispositif 20 pour la distillation de la solution de régénération usée est mclus dans l'installation. Ce procédé permet entre autre d'éliminer le nitrate contenu dans le petit-lait.
