Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'extraction des gaz acides d'un mélange gazeux, tel que du gaz naturel ou du gaz de synthèse. Le procédé consiste à mettre le mélange gazeux en contact avec un absorbant aqueux contenant, en poids, entre 10 et 70 % d'un composant faiblement basique (pKb de 4 à 13, à 25 degrés C) et entre 25 et 70 % de sulfolane, par circulation à contre-courant dans une colonne d'absorption 2, l'absorbant introduit au sommet de la colonne étant soutiré à un point intermédiaire 4 de la partie inférieure de la colonne en tant qu'absorbant semi-riche qui est extérieurement refroidi dans un echangeur 6 puis réintroduit dans la partie inférieure de la colonne pour être remis en contact avec le mélange gazeux introduit à la base de la colonne. L'invention permet d'économiser la vapeur utilisée pour la régénération de l'absorbant
