Abstract

Procédé de préparation de dithionite de sodium anhydre par réaction de dioxyde de soufre avec du formiate de sodium et une lessive de soude aqueuse en présence de méthanol. On fait réagir du monoxyde de carbone avec de la lessive de soude dans un milieu réactionnel aqueux, qui contient 1 à 50 % en poids de méthanol, rapporte à l'eau, à des températures allant de 80 degrés à 120 degrés C et sous des pressions allant de 10 à 40 bars et on fait réagir, de façon connue en soi, la solution hydro-méthanolique de formiate de sodium obtenue, avec du dioxyde de soufre et une lessive de soude aqueuse pour obtenir du dithionite de sodium.
