Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un gaz d'échappement Pour traiter un gaz d'échappement contenant au moins des oxydes de soufre et de l'oxygene, on le met en contact dans une colonne à pulvérisation non métallique avec des gouttelettes finement divisées d'une solution aqueuse d'un sel alcalin préparée à un pH inférieur à 8, puis on introduit le gaz d'échappement dans un collecteur électrique de poussières. L'invention s'applique en particulier à un traitement très efficace des gaz d'échappement, à basse température, produisant un effluent dont le rejet ne pose pas de problèmes.
