Abstract

Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte for fjerning av sul- fider, inkludert hydrogensulfid, karbonylsulfid og karbon- disulfid, fra en gasstrøm ved å rense gassen med en vandig vaske-væske, og behandling av vaske-væsken med sulfid- oksiderende bakterier i nærvær av en elektronakseptor, samt å anvende den behandlede væske som en vaske-væske, hvori rensingen og den bakterielle behandling utføres i den samme reaktor, og hvor nitrat anvendes som elektronakseptor. Fremgangsmåten er spesielt anvendelig for desulfurisering av gass av høyt trykk, såsom naturgass.
