Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de répartition de lumière à utiliser dans un système de communication par signaux optiques. Le dispositif comprend plusieurs fibres optiques 11 et 12 présentant chacune une partie animale 13, les parties amincies des fibres optiques 11 et 12 étant fondues ensemble par effet thermique de manière à former une partie 14 de mélange de lumière dans laquelle les âmes 17 et 18 des fibres sont serrées ensemble dans un seul et unique revêtement Avec le dispositif de l'invention, les pertes de puissance lumineuse dans le dispositif sont réduites par rapport à la technique antérieure, tandis que la répartition de lumière entre les différentes fibres du dispositif de répartition s'effectue de manière plus uniforme que dans la technique antérieure
