Abstract
Catalyseur de Raney au nickel-fer, à forte teneur en ce second métal. Ce catalyseur se caractérise en ce qu'il contient de 10 à 30 % en poids de fer par rapport au poids total des métaux actifs nickel et fer; on le prépare en traitant un alliage aluminium-nickel-fer contenant de 21 à 49,5 % de nickel, de 3 à 16,5 % en poids de fer, solde à 100 % en poids : aluminium, par une base organique ou minérale. Ce catalyseur moins coûteux que le nickel de Raney connu donne de meilleurs résultats dans l'hydrogénation des composés aromatiques nitrés en particulier.
