Abstract

The telephone cable has a central conductor (1) surrounded by insulation which is itself covered by a woven wire sheath (3). At a bared end of the cable the woven wire sheath is turned back to form a crown (4). The diameter (11) at the bottom of the section is greater than the insulation (2) but less than that of the crown (4).
