Abstract

Décanteur mécanique perfectionné. La cuve ou bassin de décantation supporte en son centre une colonne tubulaire dans laquelle arrive par en haut la solution à traiter. La partie supérieure de cette colonne comporte un orifice par lequel y entre le liquide clarifié surnageant qui s'y mélange, en la diluant, à cette solution. La colonne contient plusieurs compartiments superposés et sous-jacents dans lesquels des organes introduisent et mélangent à la solution des réactifs chimiques destinés à faire floculer les solides qu'elle contient. Un conduit d'évacuation partant de la base de la colonne injecte directement la solution ainsi traitée dans la couche de boue épaisse qui s'accumule au fond de la cuve. Application aux décanteurs mécaniques.
