Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément photographique photosensible à halogénure d'argent et un procède de son traitement On traite un élément photographique photosensible à halogénure d'argent constitué d'un support, d'une couche d'émulsion d'halogénure d'argent revêtant le support et contenant des grains d'halogénure d'argent ayant une taille moyenne de 0,05 à 1,5 mu m, dont au moins 75 % ont une taille comprise dans la gamme de 0,6 à 1,4 fois la taille moyenne et d'un composé de tétrazolium, avec une solution de développement ne contenant pas d'agent de développement de type hydroquinone. Applications : obtention d'images argentiques en demi-teinte ou au trait très contrastées.
